Casino-Comps.info has three main sections:
Comps Discussion in Theory and Practice: perhaps it sounds a bit too academic, but there really is a theory to Comps, and understanding this theory will make the practice part much easier, even fun, that's why we call it "The Comp Game". The theory is not very complicated, it is really all about 'Theo'.
Casino Games: The focus is on Video Poker, the favorite game of Comp Pros.
Las Vegas Casino Database: The core of casino-comps.info, where the best available information on comps offered by individual Las Vegas casinos is summarized. Posts on Yahoo Group "Casino Comps" provide valuable information to the database.
Recent Activity on Yahoo Group Casino Comps
Two recent posts give a quick insight into how posts on the Yahoo Group make their way into the database on casino-comps.info:
Someone posted that they received an offer for free hotel rooms at their choice of Green Valley Ranch or Red Rock; plus $50 in free slot play; plus $50 in food credit playing $10,000 per day. Someone replied to this posting, saying that they got the same offer, but played through $25,000 per day, they now realized they over played for their comps. As is explained in the Comps Discussion section, $10,000 and $25,000 are not referring to the amount of money that you bring to the casino and put at risk, but rather the amount of money that you cycle through the machines. This is all carefully explained in the Comps Discussion section.
